Dr Rick Evertz

Dr. Rick Evertz is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in remote sensing and data analytics, currently serving as the Principal Data Scientist and Research and Development Lead for EY Space Tech since March 2022. This role involves scoping and managing Earth observation data science offerings aligned with cutting-edge research and client needs. Additionally, Dr. Evertz holds an Adjunct Industry Fellow position at Swinburne University of Technology, fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Previous roles include Principal Data Scientist at Innoneuro, where efforts focused on developing non-invasive measures of brain function, and various academic positions at Swinburne University, including PhD candidate and tutor. Dr. Evertz earned a PhD in Physics from Swinburne University of Technology in March 2022 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in March 2018.
