Janna Kaplan has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2009 as a Community Assistant for Northwestern University Residential Life. Janna then worked as a Production Assistant for Overland Entertainment in 2011 and as a Campus Tour Guide for Northwestern University from 2010 to 2012. Janna also served as a Lead Box Office Concierge and Marketing Assistant for City Winery from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Marketing & Social Media Manager for Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants. Janna then transitioned to the Obama Foundation, where they held multiple roles. Janna started as an Education Team Analyst from 2018 to 2020, then became a Program Curriculum & Design Associate from 2020 to 2021, and finally served as a Senior Associate for the Global Programs Alumni Network from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Janna works as a Training & Organizing Program Manager for Swing Left, starting from the year 2022.
Janna Kaplan attended Northwestern University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies.
