Chief Technology Officer at SWIR Vision Systems

Ethan Klem has held a variety of roles in the engineering and technology fields since 1996. Ethan began their career as a Test Engineer at Celestica, where they were responsible for engineering support for electrical systems of dynamic thermal cycle and burn-in stress chambers. In 1998, they moved to TriQuint Semiconductor, where they were an Applications Engineer, designing engineering evaluation and customer demonstration boards. In 2003, they joined the University of Toronto as a Semiconductor Device Researcher, focusing on colloidal quantum dot (CQD) solar cell development. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at RTI International as a Senior Research Engineer in the Electronics and Applied Physics Division, researching and developing electronic and optical device technologies. In 2018, they became the Chief Technology Officer at SWIR Vision Systems.

Ethan Klem received their PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to that, they earned their B.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University in 1997.
