Joan Mateos

Joan Mateos, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Director of Operations & Purchasing at Swisslog since November 2019. Prior experience includes leadership roles at GE Renewable Energy from October 2015 to September 2019, notably as the North America Blade Services Leader and Senior Project Manager, focusing on strategic service enhancements. As M&A Integration Leader, Joan played a critical role in integrating ALSTOM Wind On-Shore into GE Renewable Energy. Earlier positions at Alstom included Operations Director and Manufacturing Operations Director, directing teams and overseeing manufacturing processes. Joan began the career as a Supplier Development Engineer at Ecotecnia and an Electrical Engineer at DOGA. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià, and an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician from Salesians Sarrià.
