Kewin Peltonen

Kewin Peltonen is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Sydbank since January 2022. Previously, Kewin held the position of CISO and Head of IT Security at Energinet from July 2016 to December 2021, where responsibilities included leading the IT Business Excellence department to enhance information security and IT service management maturity. Kewin's background also includes roles as an Information Security Manager at Atea Danmark, where extensive governance and compliance enhancements were made, and as a Senior Consultant in Risk Assurance Services at PwC, performing risk assessments for top-tier enterprises. Additionally, Kewin worked at Tieto as a Software Architect, gaining a strong technical foundation in information security. Kewin holds a Master of IT degree in Software Development from Aarhus University.
