Aftab Khan

Aftab Khan is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Symbotic since November 2023, Aftab oversees core hardware engineering and project execution. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering & Technology at Trane Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of technology and engineering initiatives for Thermo King Americas, and various leadership positions at Stellantis, focusing on advanced energy storage, fuel cell systems, and electrified vehicles. Aftab's earlier experience at Lear Corporation involved leading global innovation and hybrid engineering efforts, significantly advancing electrified vehicle components. Aftab holds an MBA and a PhD in Systems Engineering from Oakland University, alongside an MS in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
