Principal Scientist at Symphogen

Mette Høgh Sørensen has a diverse work experience in the field of bioanalysis and pre-clinical development. Mette currently serves as a Principal Scientist at Symphogen, starting in September 2022. Before that, Mette worked at Nordic Bioscience as a Research Scientist from May 2007 to June 2008, conducting protein profiling of atherosclerotic plaques and leading the Cardiovascular research group.

Mette started their career at Statens Serum Institut, where they held various roles from August 2000 to June 2008. This includes working as a Team Leader, Analysis Chemist in Bacterial Vaccine Control, Temporary Team Leader in QC for plasma products, and Analysis Chemist in QC for plasma products control. Mette was involved in optimizing and validating analysis methods, managing projects, and preparing regulatory documents.

Mette Høgh Sørensen attended Den Kongelige Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole from 1992 to 2000. Mette earned a degree in Cand Agro with a focus on Biochemistry.
