Alok Kumar has a significant amount of work experience in the field of design automation. Alok started their career as the Head of the EDA Group at Semiconductor Complex Ltd in 1983 and remained in that role until 1993. Alok then joined Cadence Design Systems, where they held various managerial positions, including Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and Engineering Director. Alok worked at Cadence Design Systems until 2004. In the same year, they joined CoWare Inc as the Senior Engineering Director & Managing Director and later became the Vice President & Managing Director. After leaving CoWare Inc in 2010, Alok had a brief stint as the Executive Vice President at Poseidon Design Systems. Alok is currently serving as the AGM & Head of the Noida Design Centre at Synapse Design Automation Inc.
Alok Kumar obtained their Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Alok'stime of enrollment at this institution is not provided. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc (Tech) in Computer Science at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 1977 to 1982.
