Emma Jones has over 18 years of experience working in various environmental roles. Emma is currently serving as the Principal Environmental Specialist / Environment Lead at Synergy. Prior to this, they worked at Western Power as a Senior Assurance Specialist / Senior Environmental Advisor for almost 9 years. At the Office of the Environmental Protection Authority, they held the position of Senior Environmental Officer for over 2 years. Emma also served as a Senior Environmental Officer / Environmental Officer at the Department of Environment and Conservation (WA) for 7 years. Additionally, they had a brief secondment as a Senior Environmental Officer at the Office of the Appeals Convenor. Throughout their career, Emma has been involved in a range of responsibilities including environmental audits, compliance assessments, and reports preparation.
Emma Jones completed a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety at Scope Training Pty Ltd in 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Science, with Honours, from the University of Western Australia between 1997 and 2001, specializing in majors of Zoology and Chemistry.
