Balaji Rajappan has a strong work experience in the maritime industry. balaji is currently serving as the Vice Principal at Eurotech Maritime Academy since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Engineering Officer at Synergy Marine Group from 2018. balaji also gained experience as a Technical Superintendent at Nathalin Shipping in 2017 and as a Chief Engineer at V.Ships from 2015 to 2017. Balaji Rajappan has also worked as a Chief Engineer at Navigazione Montanari in 2014 and as a 1st Assistant Engineer at IMS Ship Management from 2011 to 2014. balaji started their career as a 3rd Engineer at Navig8 Group in 2008 and as a 4th Engineer at Anglo Eastern Ship Management in 2007.

Balaji Rajappan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued Graduate Marine Engineering at Maritime Foundation, Chennai, specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from 2004 to 2005.
