Ajei Gopal

Ajei Gopal is an experienced executive and board member with a distinguished career in technology and engineering. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Synopsys Inc. and Fiserv since 2024, and as a Trustee at Carnegie Mellon University since May 2022, Ajei has previously held significant leadership roles including President and CEO at ANSYS, Inc. from 2011 to 2025, and various positions at Citrix, Symantec, Silver Lake, Hewlett-Packard, and CA Technologies. Ajei Gopal earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
