Marjan Varedi

Marjan Varedi, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Synthego Corporation, where roles have included Interim Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Quality and Regulatory since October 2023. Previously, Marjan held the position of Senior Director of Product QA and Validation at Revance from April 2022 to October 2023 and served as Director of Quality Operations and Associate Director of Quality Control at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. between April 2019 and April 2022. Experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech fields includes senior roles at Bayer and Trinity Consultants - Advent Engineering Life Science Solutions, where Marjan specialized in quality control and validation processes. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS and MS in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran. Research work at the University of California, Berkeley focused on the impact of receptor clustering on adult neural stem cell differentiation.
