Ying Ren has extensive work experience as a Bridge Engineer. They started their career at Biggs Cardosa Associates in 2004 and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2019, they worked as a Bridge Engineer at Arup. In 2020, they joined Mark Thomas (A/E) as a Senior Bridge Engineer and remained in that role until 2022. Currently, Ying Ren is employed as the Lead Bridge Engineer at T.Y. Lin International.
Ying Ren received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering at the same university from 2003 to 2004.
