Emily Wood

Emily Wood, CPTD, PMP, serves as an Instructional Designer at Tacoma Power since February 2024 and as Managing Director at Serenity Learning LLC since November 2018, where strategic guidance, consultation, and e-Learning developmental services are provided. Previously, Emily held roles as a Senior Learning Consultant and Management Analyst II for the City of Tacoma, and served as Educational Content Development Manager for the Propane Education & Research Council, where a $5M budget was managed for developing a licensure learning ecosystem. Additional experience includes positions at Oregon Child Development Coalition, Monterey Bay Aquarium, OIC Moments, United States Department of Defense, National Geographic School Publishing, and Apple Computer. Emily holds a Certificate in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Monterey Bay, and a degree in International Business/Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business.
