Mika Makinen is a seasoned business expert with a strong focus on Asian-Western cross-cultural consulting. Currently serving as CXO at mikAdvance since 2016, Mika specializes in sales channel development, strategy execution, and business revitalization for Western companies entering East Asian markets. As the APAC Representative for TactoTek, Mika successfully opened the APAC market and expanded responsibilities from Japan to the broader region. Previous roles include Japan Region Representative for Ginolis Ltd, where Mika facilitated market entry processes, and Regional Director APAC for Anite Telecoms Ltd, achieving significant sales growth. Throughout an extensive career, Mika has held leadership positions at Elektrobit, Elcoteq, and Metso, consistently driving revenue growth and operational success. Mika holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
