Tahirih Justice Center
Dane Foster is an immigration staff attorney at Tahirih Justice Center since August 2022, with previous experience as a review attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP, where extensive document analysis was conducted. Earlier legal roles included serving as a law clerk at Blessinger Legal PLLC, focusing on asylum applications, and as an intern with the International Refugee Assistance Project, providing legal aid to refugees. Dane also contributed to constitutional development as a team leader at the Center for Constitutional Democracy and interned at International IDEA. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a First Semester Certificate in Arabic from the Kelsey Arabic Program, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Additional experience includes teaching English and working in early childhood education.
