Mohammed al-Sarem

Mohammed Al-Sarem is a seasoned academic and industry professional with extensive experience in the fields of AI, cybersecurity, and data science. As the Lead AI & Cybersecurity Section at Energy Industry & Advanced Technologies since September 2024, Mohammed leads research initiatives. Concurrently, Mohammed serves as a Full Professor and Editorial Board Member at Taibah University, managing curriculum development for the Information Systems department and overseeing the new data science program. Previous roles include Research Fellow at INTI International University-Malaysia, Data Science Consultant at Space Secure, and Senior Lecturer at Sana'a University, where Mohammed taught various computer science courses and supervised final year projects. Educational credentials include a PhD in Intelligent Computing from Université Hassan II Mohammedia and advanced degrees in computer applications and computer science from Volgograd State Technical University.
