Abbey Huang has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Abbey started their career at MLC Australia as an Actuarial Analyst in Investments Actuarial, where they worked from April 2007 to September 2009. Abbey then moved on to BT Financial Group, where they held various roles including Pricing Manager in Life Insurance Actuarial and Project Capital Actuary. Abbey worked at BT Financial Group from September 2009 to September 2013. Currently, Abbey is working at TAL Australia, where they have held multiple positions including Pricing Actuary in Group Pricing, Senior Pricing Manager in Group Pricing, Head of Industry Fund Pricing, Head of Product and Pricing for Master Trust and Corporate, and their current role as Head of Product and Pricing Rest.
Abbey Huang received a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Abbey also obtained the FIAA certification from the Actuaries Institute Australia in 2010.
