Soraiya Daud is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Strategy Advisor at Tāmaki Regeneration, focusing on aligning development activities with strategic objectives. Previously, Soraiya held the position of Advisor - Accountability and Organisational Performance at the Electricity Authority, overseeing non-financial planning and reporting. Additional experience includes roles as Sustainability Coordinator for the National Council of Women of New Zealand, Policy and Communications Advisor for FinCap, and various positions within Parliamentary Services. Soraiya's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Geography and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Studies from the University of Auckland.

Tāmaki Regeneration has a master plan for Tāmaki that will upgrade streets, parks and town centres, increase transport options, support schools, provide job opportunities and build 10,500 affordable, state and market homes. We’re committed to enhancing wellbeing in Tāmaki, especially for local Māori and Pasifika people. We are creating a place where it’s possible for everyone to flourish and grow.
