Clayton Elger possesses extensive expertise in data architecture and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Data Architect for the Tampa Bay Rays since June 2017, following roles as a Data Architect and Data Engineer. Prior to this, Clayton worked at Caterpillar Inc. from January 2014 to June 2017 as an IT Analyst, where significant contributions included optimizing schema for over 1 TB of machine sensor data and developing integrations between internal systems and Salesforce. Early experience as a GIS Intern at Caterpillar involved automating data analysis processes and enhancing data integrity. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
