Aynne Worthington

Aynne Worthington is an experienced professional in strategy, people, and operations, currently serving as Director at Teach For America since June 2019. In this role, Aynne leads various initiatives focused on talent acquisition, team communications, operations, and strategic planning to support the Recruitment Team. Key projects include co-leading the talent acquisition team and overseeing operations, knowledge management, and mentorship. Previously, Aynne worked in finance, culture, and operations, where inclusive team engagement was prioritized. Prior experience includes roles at Coastal Carolina Community College as Site Manager, Distance Learning Program Manager, and College and Career Readiness Instructor, all contributing to innovative educational program development. Early career experiences include coaching and teaching at Evangelical Christian School, as well as research and assessment work at the Christian Psychological Center. Aynne holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Mississippi State University.
