Marty Chao is a Senior Corporate Counsel at SHEIN Distribution Corporation, with experience in providing legal guidance in the fashion and e-commerce sectors since January 2022. Chao has previously held the position of Senior Corporate Counsel at Treasure Data and served as Legal Counsel at Zenlayer, focusing on enterprise customer data management and edge cloud services respectively. In addition, Chao is an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund and a Charter Member of TechGC. Earlier legal experience includes positions at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, and Hana Law Firm. Chao holds a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from UC Irvine.
