Alona Zer is a Clinical Associate Professor at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since April 2024 and serves as the Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Rambam Health Care Campus from August 2021. In addition, Alona Zer holds leadership roles as Chair of the Israeli Sarcoma Oncology Group and the Oncology Drug Reimbursement Committee with the Israeli Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy since June 2019. Alona Zer is also an Educational Committee Member for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and a Faculty Member of the ESMO - European Society for Medical Oncology, both since August 2021 and June 2021, respectively. Additionally, Alona Zer is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tel Aviv University since October 2019 and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tel Aviv University.
