Sagarika completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Solar Energy at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2014 to 2019, and earned a Master in Energy Science and Engineering from the same institution between 2012 and 2014. Prior academic qualifications include a Bachelor in Physics obtained at Delhi University from 2009 to 2012, and ongoing research associate work in Solar Energy at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
