Claudius Mbemba

Claudius Mbemba is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and venture investment. Currently serving as the Venture Investment Director at Startup Haven since August 2020, Claudius is instrumental in building the inaugural Fund for Startup Haven Ventures, focusing on investments in founders with solid growth plans. In addition to this role, Claudius has been a co-founder of neu, a Techstars Seattle 2020 portfolio company, and serves as the CTO of neu since February 2018. Claudius also contributes as a Board Member and Committee Co-Chair for FIRST Washington, fostering STEM skills in young people. As Board Chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Claudius actively engages with the alumni community. Previous roles include significant engineering positions at Microsoft, where Claudius worked on innovative products and solutions in various technologies. Claudius holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, Entrepreneurship/Business, and Spanish from The Ohio State University.
