Kenny Bae

Kenny Bae serves as the Director of STEAM Innovation at The Avery Coonley School and holds multiple ambassador roles, including Gardyn Ambassador, Pitsco Teacher Ambassador, Glowforge Teacher Ambassador, and UBTECH Teacher Ambassador. With extensive experience in education, Kenny has also organized TEDx events at both The Avery Coonley School and Wolcott College Preparatory High School, where responsibilities included event planning and community engagement. Prior experience includes leading the Science Department at Wolcott College Preparatory High School and teaching summer robotics classes at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Kenny Bae holds a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree with a triple major in Physics from Eastern Illinois University.
