Tehnopol
Anu Puusaag has extensive experience in the fields of smart technology and entrepreneurship development. Currently serving as Smart Tech Manager at Tehnopol since January 2022, Anu oversees initiatives related to Smart City, AI, and robotics, fostering collaboration between public and private sectors, established companies, startups, and universities. In addition to this role, Anu has been a mentor at Prototron Fund since November 2017, supporting teams in creating prototypes in green-tech and ICT. Previous positions include Smart City Manager and various managerial roles within Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, focusing on business development and innovation for tech companies. Anu’s career began at Enterprise Estonia, where a range of roles included managing projects aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within Estonia. Anu holds degrees from TalTech, Tallinn University, and Tallinn School of Economics.

The Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol foundation is a science and business campus which aims to advance technology-based entrepreneurship in Estonia, bring scientists and entrepreneurs together and provide suitable services and a suitable environment for the realisation of breakthrough business ideas. Today, there are nearly 200 companies (from startups to Skype) operating on the Tehnopol campus, which is situated close to Tallinn University of Technology and the Estonian IT College. The Science Park also has some striking success stories to show – businesses that have started out here (e.g. Skype, Defendec, Toggl and FlyDog) have become strong companies.
