Mandi Lavoie

Mandi Lavoie has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mandi started their career in 2006 as a Seamstress Co-operative Education Student/Intern at Jackie's Alterations. In 2008, they worked as a Production and Teaching Assistant/Co-operative Education at Ursuline College Chatham, where they assisted teachers in various media production projects and provided individual student support in different media types.

From 2011 onwards, Mandi became self-employed as a Freelance Multi-Artist specializing in fashion, textile, multimedia, and art. Their skills in fashion design, pattern-making, sewing, embroidery, and various artistic mediums helped their explore new and unique mediums. Mandi also worked as a Model Scout at Elite Model Management in Toronto during this time.

In 2012, Mandi started their own YouTube channel called HandiMandiTV, where they hosted, wrote, edited, and directed educational videos on visual arts, crafts, home decor, fashion, and beauty. Mandi even managed public relations and produced the content. Mandi also had plans to expand the segments and sell product goods online.

In 2017, Mandi joined TekSavvy Solutions Inc. as a Customer Service Representative and Technical Support Specialist. Their responsibilities included gathering customer details, providing information about products/services, documenting customer interactions, and resolving low-level customer issues.

Lastly, from 2005 to 2018, Mandi worked at Sobeys as an Engagement Champion, Admin & Front-End Service employee, where they played an important role in customer interaction and satisfaction.

Overall, Mandi Lavoie has a broad range of skills and experiences in the fields of art, fashion, customer service, and multimedia production.

From 2008 to 2011, Mandi Lavoie attended Fanshawe College, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design. Their field of study focused on Fashion Design.
