Adi Haviv

Adi Haviv is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University, specializing in NLP and Computer Vision since April 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Amit Bermano. Prior to pursuing a doctorate, Adi worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Tel Aviv University from 2018 to 2021, completing a thesis titled "BERTese Learning to speak to BERT." Adi's extensive experience includes seven years at eBay, where roles spanned from Sr. Applied Science and Engineering Manager to Software Engineer, focusing on AI development, personalized search, recommendation systems, and data mining. Adi's career began in the Israel Defense Forces from 2006 to 2010 as a .Net Software Engineer. Additionally, Adi holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, completing the latter in 2020.
