Luis Armando Tavarez is an experienced professional in broadcast engineering and systems management, currently serving as the Systems Engineering Manager and previously as a Broadcast System Engineer at Telemundo Houston (KTMD) since March 2018. Prior to this, Luis held the position of Assembly Technician at Ford Audio-Video for a brief period in late 2017. Notably, Luis worked with The Production Crew and Co. as a Broadcast Engineer from July 2014 to October 2017, focusing on outside broadcasts and live sports events. Luis's career began at CDM International, where from April 2001 to August 2016, contributions included roles as a Non-Linear Editor and Technical Director, as well as expertise in broadcast studio and OB van installation and configuration. Luis holds an educational background from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, completed between 2000 and 2001.
