Zameer Ahmad

Zameer Ahmad, PhD, currently serves as Sub-Project Lead for HVDC System Design, Control, and Grid Integration at TenneT TSO B.V. since August 2023. Prior to this role, Zameer worked at DNV as a Consultant focusing on HVDC systems, where responsibilities included project management, real-time simulation facility development, and grid code compliance testing. Zameer held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft from February 2019 to August 2021, engaging in HVDC converter control, dynamic performance studies, and the development of test setups for power electronic converters. Earlier academic appointments include Assistant Professor at VR Siddhartha Engineering College and various supervisory roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Zameer holds a PhD in Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a Postdoctoral degree in HVDC system performance from Delft University of Technology.
