Andrew Fraser

Andrew Fraser is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at TerraPower LLC, leading the design of Reactor Internals for the Natrium Demonstration Project since 2020. Previously, Andrew served as a Mechanical Engineer at Tempress from December 2014 to 2020, focusing on hydraulic tool design and customer support in oil well services. Andrew's experience also includes working at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory as a Mechanical Engineer, and conducting research at Marquette University, where significant contributions were made to shock compaction studies. Andrew's early career featured internships at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Caterpillar Inc., where skills in design engineering and facilities management were developed. Andrew holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University.
