Christopher Fendley, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christopher started their career in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Shift Engineer and later served as a Division Officer aboard a U.S. nuclear submarine. Following their military service, Christopher joined Raytheon as a Financial Executive Development Program Summer Intern. Christopher then worked at DTE Energy as a Senior Finance Associate, where they focused on financial modeling, project development, and renewable energy opportunities. Currently, Christopher is employed by TerraPower, where they have held positions such as Vice President of Commercial Development, Senior Director, Director, and Manager of Business and Corporate Planning. In their role at TerraPower, they have managed utility advisory groups, led development efforts with customers, and conducted technical and techno-economic analysis.
Christopher Fendley, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they earned from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their M.B.A., they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Christopher Fendley obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2015.
