Ryan Sprengel

Ryan Sprengel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nuclear energy and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Senior Director of PMO at TerraPower, Ryan has held various leadership roles including Director of Licensing and License Application Development Manager, focusing on the licensing effort for the US Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (US-APWR) and managing numerous sub-projects for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) design approval. Prior to TerraPower, Ryan worked at Exelon Nuclear as Regulatory Assurance Manager and Senior Regulatory Engineer, and at Mitsubishi Nuclear Energy Systems as Regulatory Services Manager, Licensing Manager, and Lead Licensing Engineer, gaining expertise in managing licensing tasks and communication between engineering teams and regulators. Ryan's career also includes a role as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at GE Nuclear Energy and instructor for the US Navy, along with a strong educational foundation in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from respected institutions.
