Preston Ingram has a diverse work experience in the agriculture and financial sectors. Preston is currently working at Texas Farm Credit since 2018, initially as a Relationship Manager, then as a Capital Markets and Agribusiness Officer, and now as the VP- Capital Markets and Agribusiness. In this role, they are responsible for developing and participating in large, complex relationships, formulating custom financial solutions, and orchestrating multi-stakeholder interactions.
Prior to their current role, Preston worked at Hageman Group from 2012 to 2018 as the Director of Agriculture Operations. Preston'sresponsibilities included managing the Texas investments in 5 counties, which involved owning and operating approximately 30,000 acres of farmland. The operations encompassed cattle, farming, and hunting.
Before that, Preston worked at Mercy Ships from 2008 to 2012 as the Agriculture Operations Manager. In this role, they managed the agriculture operations at the organization's headquarters, which involved raising and direct marketing grass-fed beef, lamb, and eggs. Preston also implemented sustainable, organic farming methods and was responsible for herd management, customer relationships, and land stewardship.
Preston's earliest work experience was at Sky Ranch in 2006 and 2007, where they served as the Head Wrangler.
Preston Ingram pursued their education at various prestigious institutions. From 2001 to 2006, they attended Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they simultaneously studied at two different schools. At Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, they pursued their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Food and Agribusiness. Additionally, during the same period, they also attended Purdue University, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Agricultural Economics.
