Frank Michel

Frank Michel is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in public affairs and media. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs at Texas Heart Institute since 2009, Frank previously held the title of Director of Communications for the City of Houston from 2004 to 2009. Frank's extensive career at the Houston Chronicle spanned from November 1979 to March 2004, where roles included Associate Editor in charge of editorial and opinion pages, op-ed editor, assistant Metro editor, and copy editor/page one editor. Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and history from the University of Houston and furthered studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
