Bea Emanuel-Sims, CFRE, MBA, is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in strategic development and donor engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce and as Director of Development - Regional at Texas Southern University, Bea leads comprehensive fundraising efforts focused on major and planned gifts. Previous roles include Major Gifts Officer at Prairie View A&M University, where significant fundraising targets were surpassed, and Director of Development at Houston Community College, facilitating over $5 million in scholarship support. Bea is also a business owner of Sweet Granny Bea's, specializing in nostalgic Southern desserts. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, alongside a Fundraising Certificate from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
