Darnell Johnson III

Darnell Johnson III, MS, has extensive experience in environmental health and safety, having served in various roles focused on radiation safety and compliance. Since March 2013, Darnell has been an Industrial Hygienist and Radiation Safety Officer at Texas Southern University. Prior experience includes positions at UC San Diego Health System Nevada Cancer Institute as a Safety Officer and RSO, where responsibilities encompassed directing safety programs for over 100 employees, and at Nevada Cancer Institute, where Darnell oversaw similar programs for more than 300 employees. Additional roles include serving as a Consultant Safety Officer at Charles River Laboratories, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and as Assistant RSO and Laser Safety Officer at Baylor College of Medicine, where Darnell conducted safety training and laboratory surveys.
