Tor Saltveit

Tor Saltveit is a highly experienced information security professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at TGS since September 2023. Previously, Saltveit held the same title at HTN AS from March 2020 to August 2023 and worked as a Director at Deloitte Norway from May 2018 to March 2020. Prior experience includes leadership roles related to security at Telia Norge and significant contributions to national security as Head of NSM NorCERT at Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet. Saltveit's career began in the Norwegian Armed Forces, progressing through various roles, including Analyst/Major and Captain, where responsibilities included operational planning, personnel security, and strategic threat assessments. Saltveit holds a Master of Science in Informatics from the University of Oslo, a Professional study from The Norwegian Military Academy, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
