Christophe Wowk has several years of experience in software engineering and management. Christophe is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Thales Alenia Space since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Technical Director of Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) Business Line at THALES LAS FRANCE SAS from October 2020 to June 2022. Christophe also worked as the Director of Competence Centers Offers and Products Competitivity at THALES DMS FRANCE SAS from September 2019 to September 2020.

From 2013 to 2019, Christophe Wowk held various roles at Thales Alenia Space, including Director of Mission Segment and Payload Benches Product Line Department, Director of Software Solutions Competence Center (Acting), and Head of Specific Software Department. Christophe was also the IESS Project Manager during this time.

Prior to their roles at Thales Alenia Space, they worked at Thales Avionics as the Deputy Head of FMS400 System Engineering Department from September 2011 to December 2012.

Before that, they worked at THALES RAYTHEON Systems as the Head of Software Architecture & Software Factory Department from October 2008 to August 2011, Head of Simulation Software Department from January 2005 to September 2008, and Head of Human Machine Interface Software Department from January 2001 to December 2004.

Christophe Wowk also has experience working at Siemens VDO as the Chief Software Architect in 2000, Alcatel ISR as the Deputy Head of Professional Mobile Radio R&D Department, Project Manager, and Software Developer from 1992 to 2000, Thomson CSF as a Software Developer in 1991, and CNES as an intern in 1990.

Christophe Wowk attended the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 1987 to 1990. Christophe obtained a degree in Ingénieur Génie Informatique, with a specialization in Calcul Scientifique.
