Salma El-Banna

Salma El-Banna is an IB certified MYP Visual Arts Teacher at Mount International School Community since March 2024, emphasizing creativity and inquiry-based learning. As a freelance children's book author since February 2021, Salma has published bestselling adventure books promoting sustainable and community development. In addition, Salma serves as an Assistant Lecturer at the American University in Cairo, responsible for delivering tutorials and assignments. Previous experience includes teaching special needs art, managing technical operations in façade design, and holding various engineering roles in industry-leading companies. Salma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture from Ain Shams University and advanced degrees in Urban Design and Fine Arts.
