David K. Oshins has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and management roles. David K. began their career at Prego Consulting Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer. David K. then worked at John C. Morris Associates as a Mechanical Engineer before it was acquired by Birdsall Services. David then joined Kelter & Gilligo Consulting Engineers, where they served as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. David K. later transitioned to Edwards and Kelcey as the Mechanical Department Head and Project Manager. In 2005, David joined Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. as the Principal/Director of New York/New Jersey Design Operations, where they managed multiple offices and projects. During their time at Jacobs, they also served as the Manager of Projects and provided guidance to project managers. In 2014, David joined The Austin Company, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Manager of Engineering and Design, and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering. Alongside their extensive industry experience, David has been actively involved in the Cleveland Engineering Society, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and currently holding the position of President.
David K. Oshins completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1987 to 1991. David K. also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution during the same time period. In addition to their formal education, Oshins has several certifications including being Procore Certified in various roles such as Subcontractor, Architect, Engineer, Superintendent, and Associate. David K. also holds the Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager (CFSHM) certification from the Prometric Food Safety Program, which they obtained in December 2017.
