Baylor School
Angelo Coclanis is an experienced history educator currently teaching at Baylor School since August 2022. Previously, Angelo served as a history teacher and Co-Director of Global Education at Solebury School from August 2015 to June 2022, specializing in World History, AP European History, and Honors U.S. History. Angelo has also held roles such as Graduate Program Assistant for the SEAS study abroad program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where responsibilities included supervising students and guest lecturing at the National University of Singapore. Additional experience encompasses tutoring Spanish in New York City, working as a research assistant focused on the Latino experience in the U.S., and serving in the Peace Corps as a Rural Community Development Facilitator in Costa Rica. Angelo's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Master of Arts in International & World History from The London School of Economics and Columbia University, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
