Ashis Ghosh

Ashis Ghosh is a skilled robotics engineer and entrepreneur with significant experience in developing and deploying advanced technologies. Currently serving as a Founding Robotics Engineer at The Bot Company since July 2024, Ashis focuses on robotics and artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Ashis co-founded Peanut Robotics and led the development of mobile manipulators for semi-structured environments from February 2018 to January 2025. Ashis also demonstrated leadership as a Project Lead at the UC Berkeley Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership, where responsibilities included developing an augmented reality typing peripheral and conducting market research from August 2017 to May 2018. In earlier ventures, Ashis co-founded Axial to create a web platform for eSports management and participated in an entrepreneurial program with The Next 36. Ashis holds a Master's degree in Product Design from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
