Andrea Davison

Director, Artistic & Education at The Calgary Philharmonic

Andrea Davison is an accomplished arts administrator with extensive experience in leadership roles within orchestral organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Artistic and Education at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra since September 2021, Andrea has also held positions as Interim Director and Project Manager, focusing on livestream broadcasts and audio recordings. Prior to this role, Andrea acted as a consultant for the Regina Symphony Orchestra and served as Interim Executive Director and Project Manager at Creative Calgary, advocating for the arts sector. With further experience in various capacities at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and Honens, Andrea has developed a strong background in artistic planning and operations. Educational qualifications include degrees from the University of Calgary, Acadia University, and the Haskayne School of Business, focusing on music and business essentials.
