Angela Spayde is an experienced educator with over 15 years of teaching and development experience. Currently serving as a 4th Grade Teacher at The Carroll School since September 2009, Angela employs a creative, multi-sensory approach to facilitate independent discovery and nurture a sense of community among students with language-based learning differences. Previous roles include Art Teacher and Development Liaison at Pine Ridge School, where Angela developed a creative arts program, and a Patent Litigation Paralegal at Weil Gotshal and Manges, focusing on case preparation. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Art from Santa Clara University and completed summer studies in Life Drawing and Painting at Parsons School of Design.

Carroll School is a dynamic independent day school for elementary and middle school students in grades 1-9 who have been diagnosed with specific learning difficulties in reading and writing, such as dyslexia.
