Chris Kuonqui is an experienced development professional with a strong focus on rule of law, human rights, and policy advocacy. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Rule of Law Programs in Latin America at The Carter Center, Chris previously held roles such as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor at the Center for Victims of Torture, where capacity-building for civil society organizations was prioritized. As the Founder and Lead Consultant of ZeroPoverty Solutions, Chris executed numerous projects for international organizations, including UNDP and UNFPA. With a background that includes lectures at Emory University and advisory positions at CARE and UN Women, Chris combines academic expertise with practical experience, holding a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Vassar College.
