Devoynne Prophet has extensive work experience in various roles, spanning from 1999 to the present. Devoynne began their career as an Executive Assistant at Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP from 1999 to 2001. Devoynne then worked as an Assistant to the Head of School at The Heschel School from 2001 to 2006. Following that, they served as the Director of External Relations at The Urban Assembly from 2006 to 2011. Since 2018, Devoynne has been employed at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine, where they started as an Executive Assistant to the Head of School and currently holds the position of Chief of Staff.
From 2004 to 2011, Devoynne Prophet attended City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and English.

The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine is an independent, Episcopal, K-8 day school for girls and boys of all faiths.
