Benvin L.

Benvin L. currently serves as a Senior Associate Photo Editor and Staff Photographer for The Cavalier Daily since February 2024, while also holding the position of Chair of the Rules and Ethics Board and Representative for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia Student Council since August 2023. Benvin L. has prior experience as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where significant work on educational software policy was undertaken, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Utah. Leadership roles include Chapter President and Vice President of Amnesty International, Peer Thesis Facilitator at the University of Utah Honors College, and Vice President of University Relations for the Associated Students of the University of Utah. Benvin L.'s education includes a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and an Honors Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Utah.
