John Conway

Media Relations at The Center for Discovery

John Conway has extensive experience in public relations, purchasing, history, and management, with a long tenure at The Center for Discovery since April 2001, where current responsibilities include media relations and community outreach. Conway has also served as Director of Purchasing and Development Officer/Historian, managing supply chain operations and documenting organizational history. As County Historian for Sullivan County and Co-Founder/President of The Delaware Company, Conway actively promotes regional history. Additional roles include Founder of History Prose, Adjunct Professor of History at SUNY Sullivan, and leadership positions in alternative fuel vehicle technology. An early career as Transit Division General Manager and a radio talk show host further showcase a diverse skill set. Education includes attendance at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Monticello High.
